Bradken is hiring a remote Application Engineer in Brazil to support Hitachi Construction Machinery dealers and mining customers. This role involves technical analysis, product customization, and collaboration with global teams.

Applicants should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have solid experience in mining equipment design. Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential for effective communication.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience as a design, reliability, or application engineer in mining or heavy manufacturing.
• Specific knowledge of surface mining equipment preferred.
• Physical capability and willingness to travel within Brazil and occasionally overseas.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary technical contact for Hitachi dealers and customers in Brazil.
• Provide high-level technical analysis and support for product issues.
• Develop new products and customize existing mobile plant products.
• Perform 3D CAD modeling and detailed drafting using reverse engineering data.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.

Conocimientos

Fluent spoken and written English

Native or fluent Portuguese

Experience with 3D CAD and FEA software

Field readiness for travel

Strong knowledge of health and safety standards

Educación

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
