Job summary

Formulated Automation seeks a Junior Crypto Trading & Operations Analyst for a US-based client. The role covers 24/7 trading coverage with evening and weekend shifts from a Latin America remote location.

You will price and execute client stablecoin trades, settle with clients and liquidity providers, manage house positions, and hand over to the next shift with a clear summary. You will monitor pricing, perform risk hedges, manage settlements, and support reconciliation efforts across the desk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 1–3 years of experience in trading, trading operations, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience on a trading desk or in a trading operations environment within crypto/digital assets.
• Experience working with Fireblocks.
• Experience in a crypto exchange, OTC trading desk, market maker, or digital asset payments company is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
• Background in data science or statistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as main client trade chat liaison and ensure no message goes unanswered.
• Monitor stablecoin pricing across liquidity providers and exchanges for best price.
• Execute high-touch client trades using our back-office platform.
• Initiate and approve outgoing client payments; share transaction hashes with clients.
• Carry out chain swaps on stablecoins and whitelist new wallets for compliance.
• Settle with liquidity providers and move funds to keep inventory balanced.
• Hedge stablecoin positions and close them at shift end.
• Investigate alerts and provide end-of-shift summaries to the Operations team.
