Komatsu is looking for a Mining Consultant in Santiago, Chile, to provide expertise in MineCare and support Modular clients. This role includes conducting customer workshops, performing data analysis for maintenance, and assisting the sales team with consulting services.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and has experience in maintenance engineering. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, along with strong presentation skills and knowledge of the Office Suite.

Formación

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, planning, and reliability.
• Experience with failure management and condition monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Mining Consulting services related to Intellimine® products.
• Conduct workshops with customers for MineCare deployments.
• Perform data analysis and cost-benefit analysis using MineCare data.
• Provide expert advice related to equipment maintenance.
• Assist Sales team in selling consulting services.

Job Purpose

To provide expertise and best practices in the use and maintenance of MineCare (condition monitoring system) to Modular clients. Participate and propose to the performance assurance team value projects based on their expertise for the different products of the intellimine® suite.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides Mining Consulting services related to the Intellimine® product suite
• Conducts workshops with customers related to MineCare® deployments including process mapping, trend, snapshot and failure frameworks configuration
• Perform data analysis, root cause and cost benefit analysis based on MineCare® data
• Provides change management services for new system deployments
• Provides expert advice related to equipment maintenance
• Studies and applies “Lean” and Continuous Improvement concepts to customer operations
• Creates standard templates and supports knowledge base for services
• Assists Sales team for sales of consulting services
• Assists with development of customer success stories for marketing and sales
• Determine customer training needs in maintenance related products
• Provides customer and internal training on MineCare® and reliability
• Coordinate development and continuous improvement with internal stakeholders such as Product Development, Product Introduction, Marketing, etc.
• Develop and communicate expertise in new MMS Products related to maintenance

Required Skills

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related professional
• 3-5 years of experience related to maintenance engineering, planning and reliability of industrial machinery, desirable experience in mobile mining equipment
• Failure management and condition monitoring experience required
• English and Spanish proficiency
• Data analysis proficiency and business case preparation experience
• Desirable experience in providing specialized training to maintenance personnel
• Excellent presentation skills and high level of knowledge of Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Basic knowledge of Linux and programming language
