Wabtec Corporation is seeking an experienced field service engineering professional to support OHV Drive Systems in Chile and surrounding regions. You will lead commissioning, diagnose issues, and drive improvements in collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Your role focuses on system reliability, field support, and proactive customer engagement, with extensive travel and a hybrid work model to balance remote and on-site activities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of OHV mining vehicle support, or technical degree with 5+ years in field service/engineering.
• Experience with OHV mining equipment design, validation, testing, commissioning and field support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using engineering software, diagnostic tools, and business systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%.

Responsabilidades

• Perform commissioning/startup activities for newly installed OHV Drive Systems per VTIs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues via onsite inspections, remote support, and data analysis.
• Monitor fleet performance; coordinate corrective actions with engineering and product teams.
• Submit field reports, commissioning reports, and findings in Salesforce/ServiceMax.
• Review warranty claims and support failure investigations and component teardown.
• Coordinate return shipments of RMAs for factory analysis.
• Participate in NPI programs and provide field support for new products.
• Develop relationships with customers, OEMs, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
