Huawei Technologies in Chile is seeking a Procurement Specialist to organize bidding activities, drive RFx processes, and manage supplier relationships. You will draft contracts, evaluate suppliers, and implement cost-saving procurement strategies.

Fluent English is essential, Chinese language skills would be a plus, and 3+ years of procurement and negotiation experience are preferred. CVs in English only will be considered.

On behalf of ICT company Huawei Technologies, we are looking for: Procurement Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Organizing bidding activities. Draft, run and finalize RFx processes including driving negotiations, formalizing contracts, supplier selection, qualifying new suppliers, operating and archiving all relevant in related systems.
• Compliance processes, Procurement planning and monitoring, etc.
• Routine communication and management of the existing suppliers;
• Developing procurement strategies and solutions;
• Procurement contract preparation and contract management;
• Analyzing procurement requirements and industry market, finding potential suppliers, gaining competitive advantages, and ensuring the effectiveness of implemented procurement strategies.
• Identifying the risks of procurement environment changes, establishing and implementing the risk prevention solutions, and ensuring the service stability.

Qualifications

• At least three years of procurement experience, delivery project experience and commercial negotiation experience are preferred. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English is essential. Chinese language skills would be a plus.
• Long-term and strategic mindset, ability to influence cross-department decision-making, ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment, as well as good executional capabilities. Good business sensitivity and analytical skills as well as strong project management capabilities.
• Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to plan, prioritize and execute major projects independently.
