Huawei Technologies in Chile is seeking an entry-level Optical Transmission Engineer – Deployment & Delivery to join the Carrier Network team. Recent graduates or near graduation are encouraged to apply, with focus on DWDM/OTN optical transmission and telecom networks.

You will learn deployment, integration, testing, and maintenance activities alongside experienced engineers, supporting projects for telecom and enterprise customers in a onsite/project environment.

• Graduated in 2025 or 2026, or close to graduation.
• Internship experience welcome but not required, entry-level position.

On behalf of Huawei Technologies, we are looking for a motivated Optical Transmission Engineer – Deployment & Delivery to join our Carrier Network team in Chile.

This is an entry-level opportunity designed for recent graduates or students who are close to completing their degree and are interested in developing their career in optical transmission and telecommunications networks.

You will have the opportunity to learn and participate in the deployment, integration, testing, and maintenance of DWDM/OTN optical transmission solutions, working alongside experienced engineers and supporting projects for telecommunications and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the deployment, configuration, and integration of DWDM/OTN optical transmission equipment.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and service activation of optical network solutions.
• Support engineers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during project deployment.
• Assist with optical network measurements and basic performance validation.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and project records.
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to support the successful delivery of projects.
• Develop technical knowledge of DWDM, OTN, optical transmission, and network technologies through hands-on project experience.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Graduated in 2025 or 2026, or currently close to graduation.
• Little or no professional experience required. Internship experience is welcome.
• Basic knowledge or academic background in telecommunications, optical networks, networking, or transmission technologies.
• Interest in developing a career in DWDM / Optical Transmission.
• Analytical mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work in an onsite/project environment and, when required, support field activities.
