EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Python Developer to advance our engineering organization with hands-on backend excellence. You will shape microservices, guide teams, and architect scalable cloud-native APIs leveraging Generative AI tooling.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement secure development practices, and deliver high-visibility projects across international teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Five-plus years of backend engineering experience, focusing on microservices and distributed design.
• Experience guiding and managing engineering teams (1+ year).
• Proven Python expertise in high-performance backend infrastructure and cloud-native APIs.
• Hands-on Generative AI development experience and LangChain usage.

Responsabilidades

• Shape backend API architecture and orchestration for large language model integration.
• Develop RAG pipelines including document handling, embedding, and retrieval methods.
• Link agent-based tools using LangChain/LangGraph and MCP where applicable.
• Maintain security, observability, testing, and data privacy across backend functions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and set engineering standards.
• Coordinate with frontend, data engineering, and infra teams for cohesive delivery.
