EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Python Full Stack Engineer in Chile. The role spans backend in Python and frontend in React/Angular, with leadership responsibilities across engineering teams.

You will drive design, architecture, and delivery of scalable web applications while mentoring peers and ensuring code quality. You will work across databases, cloud services, and deployment pipelines, collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and QA.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python.
• 1+ year of leadership experience.
• Strong experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Solid knowledge of React or Angular.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs and web architecture.
• Experience designing and evolving complex systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of full-stack applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks.
• Architect backend services, APIs, and integrations for scalability and resilience.
• Define standards for responsive frontend components and oversee implementation.
• Own decisions around databases, cloud services, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to shape technical direction.
• Drive design sessions, lead code reviews, and facilitate architecture discussions.
• Mentor engineers and foster technical growth within the team.
• Ensure long-term code quality and performance across projects.
• Take ownership of delivery, identify risks early, and propose solutions.
