APPLY is seeking an SRE Engineer to join our globally distributed team. This hybrid role focuses on reliability engineering and supporting day-to-day operations for UK e-commerce clients.

You will monitor health with Grafana/Prometheus, respond to incidents, and improve observability. The position suits someone with 2–3 years in SRE, strong documentation, and ability to work autonomously across time zones.

Formación

• 2–3 years in SRE, platform operations, or a technical Service Desk role.
• Experience supporting e-commerce platforms.
• Strong documentation habits and communication skills.
• Fluent English, written and verbal, across time zones.
• Comfort working independently during early-morning shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor platform health across multiple client environments using Grafana/Prometheus.
• Respond to incidents and follow runbooks and escalation paths.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to postmortem documentation.
• Support the Service Desk with technical triaging, incident classification, and resolution.
• Maintain and improve observability dashboards, alerts, and SLI/SLO tracking.
• Write and maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Identify recurring issues and propose automation or process improvements to reduce toil.
• Participate in on-call rotation covering weekends (alternating schedule).
• Collaborate with the EMEA team during shift overlap for smooth handoffs.
• Support root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
