APPLY is seeking a capable SRE Engineer to join our globally distributed team. The role blends SRE and Service Desk duties, supporting UK e-commerce clients while maintaining reliability and observability across platforms.

Based in Latin America, you will work hybrid with flexible hours aligned to PT/ET time zones, handle incidents, write runbooks, and collaborate with the EMEA team to ensure smooth handoffs and continuous improvement.

Formación

• 2–3 years of SRE, platform operations, or technical Service Desk experience.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal) is required.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools and incident management.
• Experience supporting e-commerce platforms.
• Scripting in shell and/or Python; containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile environments and ticketing tools (Jira).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor health across client environments using Grafana/Prometheus and other tools.
• Triage incidents, follow runbooks, and participate in post-incident reviews.
• Support Service Desk triage, classification, and resolution workflows.
• Maintain observability dashboards, alerts, and SLI/SLO tracking.
• Write and maintain runbooks and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in on-call rotation, weekends included, with shift handoffs to EMEA.
• Drive automation and process improvements to reduce toil.
