Job summary

Expeditors, a global logistics company headquartered in Seattle, is seeking a Trade Compliance Coordinator to support the movement of goods to and from Latin America, ensuring regulatory compliance and handling import/export administration.

You will collaborate with customers, freight forwarders, brokers, and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely shipments, and adherence to regulations. 1–3 years of customs experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in customs compliance or import/export operations preferred.
• Understanding of international trade and customs regulations and incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Provide customs compliance expertise and regulatory guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure import and export activities comply with laws, regulations, customer requirements, and company policies.
• Review documents, resolve compliance issues, and coordinate with brokers and operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and maintain high service standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices across the organization.
• Support strategic projects and effective execution and communication.
