Huawei Technologies in Chile seeks an experienced Foreign Trade Specialist to manage import/export operations and ensure compliance with Chilean regulations. You will coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders and internal teams to drive efficient trade processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or related field and 5+ years of experience, along with advanced English communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in foreign trade, customs, import/export operations or international logistics in Chile.
• Solid knowledge of Chilean customs regulations and import/export procedures.
• Experience with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage import and export operations with timely and accurate customs clearance.
• Oversee customs brokers, freight forwarders and logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with Chilean customs regulations and import/export procedures.
• Review and manage customs documents (invoices, packing lists, origin certificates).
• Monitor clearance processes and resolve operational or compliance issues.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and Legal for smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve customs and international trade processes.
• Monitor changes in customs legislation to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and maintain reports and documentation on foreign trade activities.
• Support audits and provide guidance on customs matters when required.
