Zusammenfassung
Huawei Technologies in Chile is seeking an experienced Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist to lead import/export operations and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires advanced English, at least 5 years in customs clearance or related logistics, and strong knowledge of Chilean procedures.
You will coordinate with agencies, freight forwarders and internal teams to optimize processes and minimize delays.
Qualifikationen
- Proficient in English (Advanced) mandatory.
- Experience in customs clearance, supply chain or freight forwarding preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with customs agencies, providers and internal teams.

- Oversee customs clearance operations for imports, exports and transits.
- Ensure compliance with Chilean customs regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with customs agencies, freight forwarders, logistics providers and government authorities.
- Review accuracy of customs documentation and shipping records.
- Monitor clearance processes and resolve issues to ensure timely cargo release.
- Identify opportunities to optimize customs and logistics processes and reduce delays and costs.

- Advanced English proficiency – mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Customs Clearance, Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding in Chile
- Strong knowledge of Chilean Customs procedures and regulations
- Experience handling import, export, re-export and transit shipments
- Knowledge of customs documentation and clearance procedures
- Experience coordinating with customs agencies, logistics providers, suppliers and internal teams
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Experience in international logistics and supply chain operations will be highly valued
- Manage and oversee customs clearance operations for import, export, re-export and transit shipments
- Ensure compliance with Chilean customs regulations and internal company policies
- Coordinate with customs agencies, freight forwarders, logistics providers and government authorities
- Review and ensure accuracy of customs documentation and shipping records
- Monitor customs clearance processes and resolve operational issues to ensure timely and efficient cargo release
- Coordinate with internal Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and Logistics teams
- Track shipments, clearance status, costs and potential customs-related risks
- Identify opportunities to optimize customs and logistics processes, reducing delays and operational costs
- Support the implementation and improvement of supply chain and customs procedures
