Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking a seasoned Engineering Sales Specialist to drive global Thickening product profitability across the lifecycle. You will lead proposal support, refine sizing methods, and train teams on product information while collaborating with Capital Sales worldwide.

A strong engineering background and 5–10 years of industry experience are essential. You will build sales tools, assess risks, and help develop marketing materials, pricing strategies, and performance guarantees to protect

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in product line or process equipment.
• Ability to interpret RFQ documents, specifications and drawings.
• Knowledge of marketing, bidding and pricing techniques and terms & conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication, capable of formal presentations.
• Proficient with personal computer and standard company software.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, interpersonal and customer-relations skills.
• Skills in planning, budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal tasks including estimate compilation and proposal formulation for Capital Sales globally.
• Provide global sales support for Thickening product line.
• Refine sizing techniques for company products and share knowledge.
• Transfer and train product information to teams.
• Contribute to product improvement and R&D ideas with short development cycles.
• Act as Product Champion for Thickening product line and assist in developing sales aids.
