Job summary

FLSmidth in Chile seeks an Liner Support Team Member to deliver high-quality 3D scan processing and wear analysis, transforming field data into actionable insights for crushing operations. You will collaborate with regional and Global & Central Engineering to enable data-driven decisions and sustainable service solutions across projects.

Responsibilities include performing mine-site scans, validating scan quality, and supporting wear reports, governance, and opportunities from service

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in crusher and mill liners; read and understand drawings.
• Proven experience with 3D scanning and wear analysis.
• Solid understanding of installed base and service operations.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and field data.
• Structured and detail-oriented working approach.
• Strong collaboration skills in regional and global teams.
• Proficiency with CAD or engineering tools is an advantage.
• Travel up to 75% domestically; physically able to climb structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D scans at mine sites.
• Review and assure quality of incoming 3D scans.
• Process scan data to support wear reports.
• Improve field data quality for wear analysis and reporting.
• Support wear report governance and turnaround targets.
• Collaborate with Global & Central Engineering on standardization initiatives.
• Support business opportunities with wear analysis and technical validation.
• Identify and report business opportunities from service activities.
