Bluelight is a leading software consultancy delivering high-quality applications and exceptional client service. This role focuses on backend development using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, building scalable APIs, and collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams.

You will own features end-to-end, write tests, and help optimize performance while staying current with industry trends in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with a backend focus.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems, and functional programming principles.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an agile team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Build, design, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including technical specs and release processes.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews to uphold quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Stay current with Elixir ecosystem trends to drive innovation.
