Bluelight is seeking a senior backend engineer to join our rapidly growing software consultancy. You will build low-latency RESTful services in Node.js with TypeScript, work with AWS, PostgreSQL, and multi-tenant architectures, and contribute across the stack when needed.

This is a remote-friendly role with flexible hours; strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and collaboration with US clients. You will own deliverables, participate in architecture decisions, and help scale complex systems

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
• Experience with Fastify and schema-first validation (e.g., Zod).
• Experience running containerized services on AWS Fargate/ECS.
• Experience in compliance-sensitive or audit-heavy domains (fintech, telecom/TCPA).
