BairesDev is seeking an Elixir Engineer to design fault-tolerant, real-time applications with Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will leverage the Erlang VM to build highly concurrent systems that scale under load.

You will join a fully remote, global team with flexible hours, USD or local currency compensation, and strong career growth opportunities for professionals with 4+ years of software engineering experience and English proficiency.

Formación

4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on functional programming.
Proven expertise in Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
Deep understanding of OTP patterns, supervision trees, and Erlang VM concurrency models.
Experience building scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

Design and implement scalable web apps and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
Develop distributed, real-time systems applying OTP design patterns and supervision trees.
Optimize performance by managing lightweight BEAM processes.
Ensure reliability and high availability through fault-tolerance strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into features.
