FullStack is seeking an Elixir Backend Engineer to join a global talent network for remote, project-based work with U.S. clients. You will integrate directly into the client team and collaborate daily with designers and engineers to deliver robust backend services.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of software engineering experience, deep Elixir expertise, and strong API design. Advanced English and a four-year degree are required; experience with PostgreSQL/Ecto and Docker is preferred.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven professional experience with Elixir and the Phoenix framework in production environments.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Expertise in Elixir, particularly in robust API design and implementation.
• Solid background in building and maintaining backend services powering mobile applications (React Native).
• Deep experience in relational databases using SQL, PostgreSQL, and Ecto.
• Proven experience in third-party API integrations and software connectivity.
• Track record of working with legacy systems while improving code reliability and maintainability.
• Strong history of automated testing practices to ensure code quality.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools and remote dev environments (e.g., GitHub Codespaces).
• Demonstrated experience in eCommerce systems, powersports, or multi-tenant platforms is a strong plus.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
