Fluor Constructors in Chile seeks an experienced engineer to support project execution across multiple disciplines. You will apply engineering principles, develop specifications, and assist with procurement and permits while ensuring technical standards and safety requirements are met.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to local regulations. A four-year engineering degree is required; professional registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering and four years of work-related experience.
• Professional registration or certification is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to learn and apply applicable statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Apply cost-competitive execution techniques to develop cost-effective project solutions.
• Develop and review engineering specifications and design criteria.
• Participate in equipment/material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting.
• Perform calculations, specify equipment, and solve moderately complex engineering problems.
• Review vendor documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Make independent recommendations aligned with project objectives and guidelines.
