Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering or global equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences (management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, visitors).
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work.
• Engineer-in-Training status accomplished.
• Advanced knowledge of codes, standards, and cost of materials.
• Practical field experience.
• Intermediate computer and software skills (word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, presentations).

Responsibilities

• Perform and check routine calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple engineering complexity.
• Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in equipment and material procurement activities.
• Adhere to industry codes, standards, and department practices.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations aligned with project objectives.
• Organize and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
