Job summary

Exacta BioScience is hiring a Zonal Sales / Commercial Advisor for the O\'Higgins and Maule regions. The role blends business development, distributor collaboration, and technical field support to drive demand and advise growers.

You will generate opportunities, train the distributor\'s sales force, and tailor agronomic recommendations to local crops and practices, with travel across the central zone and reporting to Commercial Management.

The role combines business development, distributor and grower relationships, and technical field support. We are looking for proven commercial experience, a relevant client network and local agronomic judgement.

Objective

• Generate sales opportunities and long-term relationships with clients and advisors.
• Provide technical support, field trials and distributor training.

Role characteristics

• Reports to Commercial Management.
• Main coverage: O'Higgins (Region VI) and Maule (Region VII).
• Frequent work with advisors, growers, owners, operators and the distributor's sales force.
• Commercial-technical role focused on demand generation, sales support and agronomic positioning.
• Initial 3-month contract subject to review, with a path to permanent.

Tasks

• Generate, qualify and follow up commercial opportunities in the assigned zone.
• Maintain active relationships with advisors, growers, owners, managers and operators.
• Train the distributor's sales force technically and commercially.
• Explain benefits and application conditions in the local agronomic context.
• Plan field trials, sampling and results follow-up.
• Adapt recommendations by crop, production conditions and local practice.

Knowledge & experience

• Agronomy, Agricultural Technician, Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven agricultural commercial experience, ideally with an active client network in the zone.
• Ability to explain and technically support agronomic solutions.
• Knowledge of distribution, field trials and on-site data gathering.
• Availability to travel; class B licence and operation in the central zone.
