Job summary

Acquire Technology Solutions is seeking a commercially driven Business Development professional to own new business across LATAM from Chile. You will identify opportunities, build a robust pipeline and position Acquire as a trusted partner for geoscience data management.

You will engage with mining and exploration customers, speak with technical specialists and senior decision-makers, and drive opportunities from qualification to close.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or account management in mining tech, software or SaaS.
• Proven ability to identify prospects, build sales pipelines and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Confident engaging with technical specialists, geoscientists, executives and commercial decision-makers.

Based in Chile, you’ll take ownership of new business development across the LATAM region, identifying opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline and positioning Acquire as a trusted partner for geoscience data management. Working closely with our regional operations, technical services and marketing teams, you’ll have the opportunity to influence our regional growth strategy and develop your career within an established global technology business.

What You’ll Do

• Build, develop and convert a high-quality sales pipeline across mining and exploration customers throughout the LATAM region.
• Drive proactive outbound sales activity to identify new prospects, open doors with target accounts and generate new business opportunities.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer challenges and demonstrate how Acquire’s solutions can deliver value through compelling product demonstrations and presentations.
• Lead sales proposals, commercial discussions and negotiations to progress opportunities and close new business.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across technical teams, geoscience functions, operational groups and senior executive leadership.
• Work collaboratively with Technical Services, Operations and Marketing to deliver a coordinated customer experience and support regional growth objectives.
• Represent Acquire at key industry conferences, trade shows and customer events, strengthening our market presence and building relationships across the mining sector.
• Maintain accurate and insightful CRM records, ensuring effective pipeline management, sales forecasting and visibility of commercial opportunities.
• Share market intelligence, customer feedback and competitive insights to inform product development and commercial strategy.

What You’ll Bring

• 3–6 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or account management, ideally within mining technology, software or SaaS.
• A proven ability to identify prospects, build sales pipelines, develop new accounts and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Confidence engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, from technical specialists and geoscientists to senior executives and commercial decision-makers.
• A strong understanding of the mining and resources sector, including its customers, operating environments and commercial drivers.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and commercially relevant way.
• Strong organisational skills, initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain momentum across multiple sales opportunities.
• A proactive, results-oriented approach and a genuine appetite to learn, grow and succeed in a business development role.

It would also be advantageous to have:

• Experience working with mining software, geoscience applications or operational technology.
• Experience managing sales cycles ranging from short-term opportunities to longer, more complex enterprise engagements.
• Familiarity with Dynamics CRM or similar customer relationship management systems.
• Experience representing a business at industry conferences, trade shows and customer events.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and the ability to engage effectively with customers across Latin America.
