Job summary

LimmaTech Biologics AG, located in Schlieren near Zürich, seeks a CMC-Development Associate, USP (100%), to contribute to robust and scalable manufacturing processes for live-saving vaccines. You will perform USP operations, develop microbial upstream fermentation processes suitable for GMP manufacturing, and support technology transfer to CMOs, while maintaining a clean and compliant laboratory environment.

Collaboration with a proactive team is essential.

Qualifications

• Technician qualification or BSc in biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, food technology, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in microbial fermentation and upstream bioprocessing.
• Good verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, perform, and document USP operations and experiments per plan.
• Develop scalable microbial upstream fermentation processes for GMP manufacturing.
• Establish and execute strategies to optimize expression systems and process parameters.
• Evaluate data and communicate results in meetings, presentations, and reports.
• Support technology transfer to CMOs across development stages.
• Maintain laboratories and equipment in a clean, safe, and compliant condition.
