LimmaTech Biologics AG, a Swiss-based clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Research Associate / Research Scientist, USP, to advance vaccine development through recombinant protein expression and bacterial fermentation. The role emphasizes hands-on USP experiments, analytical characterization, and collaborative research within a dedicated team.

We look for an MSc holder with practical expertise in bacterial fermentation, heterologous protein expression, and methods such as SDS-PAGE

Competenze

MSc in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Molecular Microbiology from a recognized institution.
Hands-on experience with bacterial fermentation and heterologous protein expression.
Experience with laboratory-scale fermentation and modern analytical methods.

Mansioni

Perform, analyze, and plan USP experiments at laboratory scale per plans and timelines.
Analyze recombinant vaccine candidates using SDS-PAGE, Western blotting and related methods.
Establish and run IPCs to characterize fermentation intermediates and support optimization.
Contribute to development and optimization of expression and fermentation processes.
Maintain laboratories and equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
Identify and solve technical and scientific challenges during research activities.
Collaborate with colleagues within and outside the Research team to achieve project goals.
