Job summary

LimmaTech Biologics AG, a Swiss biopharmaceutical company, seeks a CMC-Development Associate for USP (100%) in Schlieren. You will run microbial upstream fermentation, develop scalable GMP-ready processes, and support tech transfer to CMOs under experienced supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in biotechnology or bioprocess engineering with hands-on fermentation experience and strong data analysis, English communication, and teamwork. Swiss work permit eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Technician qualification, BSc degree in biotechnology or related field.
• Hands-on microbial fermentation and upstream bioprocessing experience.
• Strong technical aptitude for laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and GMP/microbial practice.
• Experience with experimental design, process optimization, and data analysis advantageous.
• Good English communication skills; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, perform, and document USP operations and experiments per plans and timelines.
• Develop robust microbial upstream fermentation processes for GMP manufacturing under guidance.
• Establish experimental strategies to optimize expression systems and process parameters.
• Evaluate data and communicate results in meetings, presentations, and reports.
• Support technology transfer to CMOs across development stages.
• Maintain laboratories and equipment to safety and operational standards.
