The role requires collaboration in a fast-paced team, trackside travel to ~12 events per year, and rigorous validation, testing, and documentation to support FIA electronics architectures.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Electronics, Control Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in embedded control systems or real-time application software in motorsport.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, validate, and maintain in-house embedded software for FIA Formula 1 platforms (ECU, Accident Data Recorder).
• Lead end-to-end multi-system integration across control units, sensors, and data networks.
• Translate requirements into software architectures, specifications, and verification plans.
• Develop simulation, test, and data-analysis tools to accelerate validation and regulatory evolution.
• Perform functional and integration testing on bench and vehicle environments with F1 teams and suppliers.
• Maintain code repositories with version control and clear documentation.
