Zusammenfassung

The Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is seeking an experienced F1 Embedded Application Software Engineer to strengthen in-house embedded software capabilities. You will design, implement, and validate software for FIA Formula 1 platforms like the Standard ECU and Accident Data Recorder, ensuring regulatory compliance across multi-system integrations.

Based in Geneva, the role requires collaboration with F1 teams, power unit manufacturers, and electronics suppliers, with trackside

Qualifikationen

Master’s degree in Electronics, Control Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in embedded control systems or real-time software.
Knowledge of FIA Formula 1 Standard ECU and tool suites is a strong advantage.
Proven track record in real-time embedded software development, testing and lifecycle management.

Aufgaben

Design, implement, validate and maintain embedded software for FIA Formula 1 platforms.
Lead multi-system integration across control units, sensors and data systems.
Develop simulation, test and data-analysis tools for validation and regulatory evolution.
Perform bench and vehicle testing with teams and equipment suppliers.
Ensure code quality through reviews, version control and documentation.
