Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Control Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in embedded control systems or real-time application software development in motorsport contexts.
• Knowledge of the FIA Formula 1 Standard ECU and its tool suite is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, validate and maintain in-house embedded software for FIA Formula 1 platforms (e.g., Standard ECU, Accident Data Recorder).
• Lead end-to-end multi-system integration across control units, sensors, and data networks.
• Translate sporting and technical requirements into software architectures, specs and verification plans.
• Develop simulation, test and data-analysis tools to accelerate validation and regulatory evolution.
• Perform functional and integration testing on bench and vehicle environments with F1 teams and suppliers.
• Triage and optimize code, manage version control and documentation for long-term maintenance.
• Contribute to building FIA's in-house engineering capabilities for rapid response.
