Zusammenfassung

Computer Futures is seeking an experienced Technical Writer in Zürich to develop clear documentation for complex mechatronic products. You will craft manuals, installation guides, and safety content, translating engineering data into user-friendly instructions and creating 3D-CAD illustrated visuals from STEP data.

The role requires documenting mechanics, electronics, software, sensors, and actuators, including safety procedures and warnings for critical systems.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience writing technical documentation for customers.
• Background in documenting complex mechatronic systems combining mechanics, electronics, software, sensors, and actuators.
• Ability to create technical illustrations from 3D CAD data.
• Experience with safety-critical documentation, including warnings, residual risks, and emergency procedures.

You will develop user manuals, installation and maintenance guides, operating instructions, troubleshooting documentation, and safety-related content. The role requires the ability to understand engineering information, including CAD models, drawings, electrical schematics, and system specifications, and translate it into user-friendly documentation. Experience creating technical illustrations from 3D CAD data (STEP files) is highly desirable.
