Job summary

Adaptyv is building an automated lab enabling AI agents to design and run biology experiments, with a hybrid sales and customer success role as a primary customer contact from initial conversation to ongoing engagement.

The role requires deep scientific understanding, ability to discuss binding kinetics and assay design, onboarding, account monitoring, and identifying expansion opportunities across sectors including AI-driven protein design, biotech startups, pharma R&D, and academic labs.

Qualifications

• Scientific background in protein engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, or related field.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (field application scientist, technical sales, scientific account management).
• Commercially driven with focus on revenue, pipeline, and closing deals.

Responsibilities

• Own the full customer lifecycle from prospecting to onboarding and ongoing account management.
• Serve as technical contact; recommend experiments (binding, expression, etc.) to meet goals.
• Explain assay capabilities in depth and interpret data for customers.
