Job summary

Ligentec seeks a Technical Sales Engineer Integrated Photonics to deliver excellent pre- and post-sales technical support and to strengthen the sales, technical marketing, and business development teams.

You will translate customer needs into tailored PIC solutions, discuss Statements of Work, and support the full sales cycle from concept to delivery. Collaboration with Engineering/R&D and CRM-driven pipeline management are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands on experience in integrated optics.
• Experience in technical sales or application engineering is a plus.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into workable solutions.
• Define SoW (Statement of Work) with customers, prospects, and project partners.
• Perform proof of concept PIC design studies and PIC layouts.
• Provide technical customer support during the entire sales cycle.
• Collaborate with Engineering/R&D to develop tailored solutions.
• Cultivate positive customer relationships and act as primary interface.
• Manage the sales pipeline in CRM and work toward targets.
• Contribute to marketing strategy with talks, notes, webinars, and press releases.
• Understand and analyze market trends and requirements.
