Job summary

A-ROSA is seeking a Technical Purchaser to join our office in Chur, Switzerland. You will handle day-to-day procurement for cruise operations and support the nautical and technical teams across our fleet.

Ideal candidates have a commercial or technical vocational background, strong German and English communication skills, and experience in procurement within maritime contexts. Home-office options and a dynamic team await.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial or technical vocational training, ideally with a focus on procurement or supply chain management.
• Professional experience in operational procurement, preferably in the maritime industry.
• Strong German and English communication skills; French language skills would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement for cruise operations.
• Purchase materials and services for nautical and technical operations of all vessels.
• Support internal procurement controlling, maintain master data and contribute to projects.
• Verify incoming invoices, check their accuracy and assign them to the appropriate accounts.
• Handle payment reminders and provide cover for colleagues during annual leave.
• Maintain and update vessel documentation in the fleet management system.
• Monitor vessel certificate expiry dates and support the technical department in recording data.
• Assist with scheduling technical personnel on board.
• Support the development of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS) across the fleet.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement for our cruise operations.
• Purchase materials and services for the nautical and technical operations of all vessels.
• Support internal procurement controlling, maintain master data and contribute to projects.
• Verify incoming invoices, check their accuracy and assign them to the appropriate accounts.

• Monitor vessel certificate expiry dates and support the technical department in recording technical and nautical data, such as operating hours and fuel consumption.
• Assist with scheduling technical personnel on board.
• Support the further development of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and the continued implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the fleet.

Your Profile

• Completed commercial or technical vocational training, ideally with a focus on procurement or supply chain management.
• Professional experience in operational procurement, preferably in the maritime industry.
• Strong communication skills in German and English; French language skills would be an advantage.
• Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
• A meticulous and structured approach to work, combined with a strong sense of responsibility.
