Zusammenfassung

WinGD Ltd. in Winterthur is seeking an Operative Purchaser to manage day-to-day procurement of materials and services, from requisitions through to PO and invoice review.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and planning to optimize deliveries and assist with apprenticeship supervision, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with authority levels.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational Swiss training EFZ (Berufslehre) with ideally further training as purchasing specialist or technical merchant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Several years of experience in operational purchasing, material planning or related functions.
• Solid understanding of PR–PO–GR–IR processes and its applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Day-to-day purchasing of materials and services, purchase to stock and purchase to order.
• Monitor requisitions and expedite PR-to-PO cycle times.
• Manage and review supplier PO confirmations and delivery dates.
• Liaise with suppliers on PO and invoice review per authority matrix.
• Coordinate customer claims, non-conformities and warranty cases.
• Contribute to supplier performance and delivery reliability metrics.
• Support purchasing team tasks and collaborate with planning and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day purchasing of materials and services, purchase to stock and purchase to order
• Monitor purchase requisitions and timely expedition (PR-to-PO cycle time)
• Monitor purchase orders (e.g. order confirmations, delivery dates)
• First contact person for suppliers for PO’s, review and approval of supplier invoices according to delegation of authority
• Handling and coordination of customer claims, non confomities and warranty cases for suppliers
• Supporting metrics such as supplier performance and delivery reliability
• Support local procurement organisation with tasks within the operative purchasing team
• Close collaboration with supliers, material planning, 4 PL and strategic purchasing
• RFQ, negotiate and execute spot buys within given guideline
• Supervise and support the apprentice with their daily tasks

Requirements

• Completed vocational Swiss training EFZ (Berufslehre), ideally further training as a purchasing specialist (m/f/d) or technical merchant (m/f/d) with a federal certificate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, preferably complemented by technical knowledge in mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline
• Several years of experience in operational purchasing, material planning or related functions
• Solid understanding of PR–PO–GR–IR processes and its applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in German
• Capable of effectively engaging with cross-functional, multinational teams, and external stakeholders
• Hands-on SAP knowledge (preferably SAP S/4HANA) so as in MSO such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Some technical understanding preferred
• High level of commitment, self-motivated and team spirit
• Flexibility and stress-resistant
