Job summary

Migros in Ecublens is seeking a Team Lead Technical Services to ensure reliable operations of our technical systems and facilities. You will lead a hands-on team, coordinate maintenance, and collaborate with internal departments to optimise performance.

The role requires fluent French and very good German and English, plus a completed EFZ apprenticeship. Expect leadership duties, on-call rotations and a culture that values responsibility and collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in technical maintenance and operations.
• Completed apprenticeship (EFZ) in a technical field; OBIT 15 permit preferred.
• Very good knowledge of English, fluent French and very good German.
• Leadership experience and hands-on team development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable operation of technical systems through maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Lead and develop the Technical Services team in Ecublens and plan workload efficiently.
• Coordinate maintenance, manage external providers and procurement of parts.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met.
• Collaborate with Migros Logistics Romandie and internal departments.
• Provide on-call support and occasional night or Sunday work in emergencies.

Job description

As Team Lead Technical Services, you're responsible for ensuring the reliable operations of our technical systems and infrastructure in Ecublens. Together with the team, you ensure high system availability, optimise processes, and continuously develop our technical services and facility management. In this role you actively contribute to making our technical operations more efficient and reliable.

For this job you need to speak either fluent German or English (ideally both) as well as French.

What you move

You ensure the reliable operations and functionality of our technical systems through maintenance, inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance.

You maintain close collaboration with MLR (Migros Logistics Romandie) and internal specialist departments.

You lead, develop and support the Technical Services team in Ecublens and ensure efficient workforce and task planning.

Secondary tasks

You plan and coordinate maintenance and repair work and, when required, manage external service providers as well as the procurement of materials and spare parts.

You are responsible for the technical infrastructure and facility management, ensuring the safe and smooth operation of the building and its facilities.

You ensure compliance with our safety, quality and environmental standards and, together with your team, maintain professional and reliable technical operations.

What you will bring

At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role

within technical maintenance and operations

Completed apprenticeship (EFZ)

in a technical field, ideally with a permit OBIT 15 (NIV 15)
