For an international company operating in the MedTech sector, we are looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to join the team in Lausanne.
In this role, you will support the daily management of purchasing, logistics, deliveries and inventory activities. You will ensure that materials, equipment and supplies are ordered, tracked and delivered efficiently to internal teams and external partners.
Working closely with the Supply Chain and Procurement team, you will progressively take responsibility for a range of operational activities and contribute to the smooth running of the supply chain.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and follow up purchase orders from order placement through to delivery.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including transport arrangements and shipping documentation.
- Organize deliveries of equipment and materials to partners in Switzerland and abroad.
- Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates, quantities and outstanding orders.
- Enter and update purchasing, logistics and inventory information in the company’s ERP system.
- Support goods receipt, inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and traceability of supply chain activities.
- Follow up on delays, discrepancies or delivery issues and coordinate their resolution with the relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams on a daily basis.
- Contribute to the improvement and standardization of operational supply chain processes.
Your profile
- Commercial, technical or vocational qualification; additional training in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement is an advantage.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, purchasing or a similar operational environment.
- Proven experience working with an ERP system, particularly for purchase orders, inventory or logistics transactions.
- Previous experience with SAGE X3 is an advantage, but not essential.
- French and English at B2 level or above.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing several tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive, reliable and hands-on approach.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Experience in MedTech, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing or another regulated environment would be an advantage.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small international team.
- Willingness to work regularly on-site in Lausanne.
