Responsibilities

  • Work with district and school leaders to identify student enrichment needs and develop an annual program plan.
  • Recruit, develop, and maintain relationships with community volunteers, businesses, organizations, artists, professionals, and other partners.
  • Match community expertise and available resources with appropriate schools, grade levels, and student learning needs.
  • Coordinate required applications, screening, background checks, confidentiality requirements, and orientation for volunteers.
  • Promote equitable access to enrichment opportunities across schools, grade levels, and student groups.
  • Maintain accurate records of partners, activities, schools, students served, program expenditures, and grant-funded activities.
  • Gather feedback, evaluate program effectiveness, and provide periodic updates and an annual summary of activities and outcomes.
  • Assist with grant applications, reports, budget narratives, and other documentation related to enrichment programming.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the purpose and responsibilities of the position.

Jamestown Public Schools is seeking a Student Enrichment and Community Partnerships Coordinator for the 2026-2027 School Year.

This is a 36-day assignment focused on developing and coordinating community-supported enrichment opportunities for Jamestown Public Schools students by connecting schools with local volunteers, businesses, organizations, and other community partners.

SUMMARY:

The Student Enrichment and Community Partnerships Coordinator develops and coordinates community-supported enrichment opportunities for Jamestown Public Schools students. The coordinator connects schools with volunteers, businesses, nonprofit organizations, artists, professionals, and other community partners who can contribute meaningful learning experiences.

Programming may include arts, music, STEM, career exploration, financial literacy, civic engagement, mentoring, health and wellness, and other district-identified volunteering priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Jamestown-area businesses, organizations, cultural resources, and community services.
  • Experience coordinating grant-funded programs or developing curriculum-connected learning opportunities.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The position requires travel among district schools and community locations. Work hours are flexible and distributed throughout the school year based on program needs and an approved annual work plan. Some work may occur outside the regular school day to accommodate school activities or community partners.
