Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is seeking a Structure Analyst in Manno to perform structural analysis on airframe components, with emphasis on wings and landing gear. You will develop analysis notes and reports and support CS-23 certification activities.

Ideal candidates have a aerospace engineering degree and at least 2 years of post-graduate structural stress analysis experience, with NASTRAN/FEMAP and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in structural stress analysis in aerospace.
• Experience with CS-23 compliance demonstration is a plus.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis (static stress and FEA) on metallic and composite airframe structures (wing and gear).
• Prepare stress notes, analysis reports, test plans and test reports.
• Support CS-23 certification activities and related demonstrations.
• Assist with structural testing definition and execution.

Structure Analyst - Manno

Your Tasks

• Structural Analysis – Classical static Stress Analysis & Finite Element analysis of metallic and composite airframe structure with particular emphasis to the Wing and Landing Gear, in both a development and certification-oriented environment
• Preparation of stress notes, formal engineering analysis reports, test plans and test reports
• Additional activities associated directly with CS 23 compliance demonstration
• Support to structural testing definition and execution

With this you convince us

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in structural stress analysis within the aerospace industry
• Recent graduates holding a Master's degree with an outstanding academic record may also be considered
• Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP, or comparable finite element analysis (FEA) software
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Mathcad would be an advantage
• Knowledge of CS-23 certification requirements would be advantageous as well as previous experience in wing and landing gear structural analysis would be an Advantage
• Fluent English skills; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset
