Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft in Switzerland is seeking a qualified Structural Analyst to perform classical static stress analysis and finite element analysis on metallic and composite airframe structures, with emphasis on wings and landing gear. The role requires a degree in aerospace engineering and 2+ years of post-graduate experience.

You will generate stress notes, reports, and test documentation while supporting CS-23 certification demonstrations and testing activities. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (Bachelor's or Master's).
• 2+ years post-graduate experience in structural stress analysis within aerospace.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform classical static stress analysis and FEA of airframe structures, focusing on wings and landing gear.
• Prepare stress notes, engineering analysis reports and test documentation.
• Support CS-23 certification demonstrations and structural test definition.

• Structural Analysis – Classical static Stress Analysis & Finite Element analysis of metallic and composite airframe structure with particular emphasis to the Wing and Landing Gear, in both a development and certification-oriented environment
• Preparation of stress notes, formal engineering analysis reports, test plans and test reports
• Additional activities associated directly with CS 23 compliance demonstration
• Support to structural testing definition and execution

With this you convince us

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in structural stress analysis within the aerospace industry
• Recent graduates holding a Master's degree with an outstanding academic record may also be considered
• Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP, or comparable finite element analysis (FEA) software
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Mathcad would be an advantage
• Knowledge of CS-23 certification requirements would be advantageous as well as previous experience in wing and landing gear structural analysis would be an Advantage
• Fluent English skills; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset
