Job summary

Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG in Switzerland invites applications for a Structure Analyst. You will perform structural analysis of airframe components with emphasis on wing and landing gear, using FEA tools.

You will produce stress notes, analysis reports, and test plans to support certification; CS-23 compliance is part of the role. We seek engineers with a degree in aerospace and hands-on experience in stress analysis, NASTRAN/FEMAP, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in structural stress analysis in aerospace
• Recent graduates with a Master’s degree may be considered
• Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX) or FEMAP or comparable FEA software
• MS Office; Mathcad would be advantageous
• Knowledge of CS-23 certification requirements advantageous
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus

Your Tasks

• Structural Analysis – Classical static Stress Analysis & Finite Element analysis of metallic and composite airframe structure with particular emphasis to the Wing and Landing Gear, in both a development and certification-oriented environment
• Preparation of stress notes, formal engineering analysis reports, test plans and test reports
• Additional activities associated directly with CS 23 compliance demonstration
• Support to structural testing definition and execution

With this you convince us

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in structural stress analysis within the aerospace industry
• Recent graduates holding a Master's degree with an outstanding academic record may also be considered
• Familiarity with NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP, or comparable finite element analysis (FEA) software
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Mathcad would be an advantage
• Knowledge of CS-23 certification requirements would be advantageous as well as previous experience in wing and landing gear structural analysis would be an Advantage
• Fluent English skills; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset
