Job summary

avec compétence GmbH is seeking a Structural Analysis engineer in Switzerland to perform static strength and dynamic analysis for space-grade structures and components. The role combines hand calculations, FE analysis using MSC Nastran, HyperWorks, Abaqus and NX, and scripting in Python/VBA to automate analysis workflows.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in space-structure analysis, strong English, and a track record of modeling complex assemblies with efficient strategies.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in structural analysis within the space industry.
• Proficiency in FEA tools such as MSC Nastran, HyperWorks, Abaqus and NX.
• Solid experience in linear static and dynamic structural analysis.
• Experience programming or scripting for analysis automation, e.g. Python, VBA.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
