Job summary

Lotus Bakeries in Baar, Switzerland, seeks a Group Buyer Raw Materials (Sugar) to strengthen the Group Procurement team. You will manage strategic procurement for raw materials across up to 13 European sites and develop sourcing strategies while negotiating framework agreements and SLAs.

Ideal candidates have a university degree with purchasing certification and 5+ years in strategic procurement, with strong analytics, SAP and BI knowledge, and willingness to travel across Europe.

Qualifications

• University degree with relevant purchasing certification and 5+ years in strategic procurement.
• Proven background in procurement of raw materials/commodities.
• Strong numerical aptitude and hands-on execution in daily business.

Responsibilities

• Strategic, tactical, and operational responsibility for raw material portfolios across 13 European production sites.
• Analyze market trends and cost drivers to develop sourcing strategies.
• Negotiate framework agreements and SLAs based on Total Cost of Ownership.
• Ensure supply security and production continuity while balancing quality and price.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Logistics on product development.
• Drive continuous procurement process improvements and sustainable sourcing.
• Monitor contracts, volumes and price variances with reporting to the Group Procurement Manager Raw Materials.
