Job summary

The Global Fund in Geneva seeks an Associate Specialist, Services Procurement (SI) to oversee end-to-end SI services procurements, aligned with approved sourcing approaches and governance. You will coordinate tenders, manage vendor communications, and support cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

With a focus on transparency and quality, you will monitor milestones, apply procurement policies, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Essential: University degree in business administration, procurement and supply chain management, public health, or a related field.
• Essential: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and sourcing. Demonstrated experience managing procurement services and/or indirect spend categories (e.g., technical assistance, professional services). Experience implementing procurement policy, ensuring compliance and implementing performance frameworks.
• Desirable: Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management/Negotiation
• Familiarity with the Global Fund’s operating model, governance and sourcing frameworks. Working experience in health product procurement and supply chain management with Low Middle-Income Countries

Responsibilities

• Operational delivery of SI services procurement end-to-end under supervision, including preparation of solicitation documents, coordination of procurement processes, and execution of tenders up to USD 500M.
• Tender administration and evaluation support, including coordination of TECs, vendor communications, documentation of evaluations, and preparation of award materials.
• Stakeholder coordination with CI PMO, SI teams, Finance, Legal, and vendors to support smooth execution and timely resolution of issues.
• Tracking, monitoring, and reporting procurement milestones, contract status, and SI-financed services to CI PMO and management.
• Process discipline and compliance with Global Fund procurement policies, procedures, and tools; flag and escalate risks and deviations.
• Continuous learning and improvement by capturing lessons learned and strengthening execution practices.
