Job summary

BYD Europe in Switzerland, Zug, is seeking an HR Specialist to support our international team. You will manage onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding, ensuring smooth processes and adherence to policy.

The role requires German and English fluency, and experience in HR analytics; Chinese language skills are a plus. The candidate will collaborate with managers to drive talent development while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Chinese or other language proficiency is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR, preferably generalist or specialist.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices including employee relations, contract management, and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with HR data analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding, ensuring smooth transitions and cultural integration.
• Manage internal employee transfers and align with career development plans.
• Coordinate promotions to ensure transparency and fairness.
• Handle offboarding, conduct exit interviews, and gather feedback for improvement.
• Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to improve retention.
• Ensure consistent application of policies and provide training to managers and employees as needed.
• Support recruitment by identifying staffing needs and advising on candidate selection.
