Job summary

The Global Fund in Geneva seeks an experienced Specialist for Surveillance and Health Information Systems. You will provide technical coordination and support across disease surveillance, data governance, interoperability, and health data use to inform national and regional responses.

Working with Country Teams, you will help operationalize data sharing, design governance frameworks, and support cross-border risk assessment and epidemic intelligence initiatives while collaborating with partners

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in epidemiology or public health with strong surveillance experience.
• Experience advising governments or international organizations on data governance.
• Proven ability to translate complex issues into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical coordination for surveillance and health information systems.
• Develop data governance, interoperability, and data lifecycle management frameworks.
• Support country teams and partners on data sharing and governance practices.
