Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Switzerland, based in Zurich, seeks a Storage Sales Specialist for our Data Solutions Team. The role focuses on engaging customers, leveraging channel partners, and building a long-term pipeline to expand HPE’s Swiss market share.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Storage/Data Services and a proven track record in complex technology sales, with German and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in business administration, technology or a related field.
• Relevant sales experience in Storage, Data Solutions or broader IT Infrastructure industry.
• Very good knowledge of Storage and Data Services market, including Backup & Recovery, Data Protection, Cyber Resilience, File/Object Storage and modern Hybrid Cloud approaches.
• Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline, forecast accurately and apply sales excellence across enterprise and public-sector accounts.
• Strong customer orientation with a consultative and challenger selling approach, enabling engagement of decision-makers and driving outcomes.
• Excellent business and financial acumen, combined with strong technology knowledge.
• Collaborative, team-oriented and results-driven working style.
• Creativity, initiative and reliability.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and closing skills.
• Business fluency in German and English.

Responsabilités

• Engage daily with existing and new customers, independently and with channel partners, supported by technical solution architects.
• Identify target accounts with channel partners and develop initiatives to win new customers for HPE Storage Solutions.
• Build and manage a long-term pipeline to increase HPE’s market share in Switzerland.
• Apply consultative and challenger selling to engage business and IT decision-makers and position HPE as a strategic enabler.
• Translate customer requirements into sustainable HPE business through a comprehensive consulting approach across all levels.
• Foster and expand relationships with business and technical stakeholders to strengthen HPE’s footprint.
• Lead opportunities through the full sales lifecycle from initial contact to contract closure.
