Lever, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer - Pricing in Switzerland to build and own the pricing infrastructure behind a modern energy platform.

You will lead the Pricing API from initial architecture to production readiness, including decoupling legacy logic, ensuring reliability, and enabling third-party access. The role combines backend engineering, data-intensive pricing, and architectural leadership in a remote-first setup.

Qualifikationen

• Deep production experience with Python backend engineering and API design at scale.
• Experience taking technical ownership of production systems and serving as senior escalation point.
• Proven track record leading decoupling, migration, or architectural transformations of live systems.

Aufgaben

• Build, operate, and evolve the Pricing API for fast, reliable pricing.
• Lead extraction of pricing logic into a dedicated service with clear boundaries.
• Architectural migrations while preserving functionality and minimizing disruption.
• Own pricing reliability with monitoring and alerting for incorrect or slow prices.
• Define and promote engineering standards and development practices.
• Promote AI-assisted and multi-agent workflows to boost throughput.
