Lever, Inc. is seeking a Director of Data Engineering in Switzerland to lead a senior data function and scale a modern data platform. You will own the roadmap, architecture, and enterprise data model while guiding a small team and staying hands-on when needed.

Key focus areas include data quality, governance, observability, and cost management, with an emphasis on AI-informed development and ERP integrations to support growth across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in data architecture/engineering.
• 3+ years leading teams.
• Experience building cloud data platforms (BigQuery or similar).
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Hands-on with dbt or similar data modeling tool.
• Experience with data quality, governance, monitoring, observability.
• Experience with ELT tools (Fivetran or similar).
• ERP integrations and enterprise system experience a plus.
• DTC/CPG domain experience preferred.
• Hands-on leadership style with technical depth.

• Own data roadmap, architecture, and data model; establish a trusted single source of truth.
• Modernize legacy data jobs and reduce technical debt.
• Ensure resilient, reliable, and available data pipelines.
• Maintain data quality, governance, monitoring, and observability practices.

• Lead sprint intake and prioritization for the data team.
• Mentor and develop engineers with growth paths.
• Contribute hands-on to architecture and platform improvements.
• Integrate ERP and other enterprise systems into the data ecosystem.
• Scale AI-native workflows and partner with AI tools in daily work.
