Qualifikationen

• Completed training in freight forwarding.
• Trainings in import and DG (Dangerous Goods) are a plus.
• Several years of professional experience in import air freight.
• Efficient, fast and independent working style.

Overview

Join our team in Zurich as a Specialist Air Import and ensure smooth, compliant operations for our customers. In this role, you’ll implement and maintain customer-specific work processes and procedures while managing assigned administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional service and uphold our standards.

Responsibilities

• Entry of shipments and processing of import orders
• Supporting and advising the customers and agents
• Preparation and monitoring of offers
• Ensuring and processing billing to customers
• Processing of special orders, as well as complaints
• Preparation of delivery bills, customs documents, etc.
• Monitoring appointments
• Maintenance of statistics for performance measurement and as a basis for accounting
• Documentation and optimization of workflows
• Support of supervisors in projects
• Documentation and filing of files
• Performing general administrative tasks
• Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable)
• Contribute actively to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions and possible improvements

Qualifications

• Completed training in freight forwarding
• Eventually completed trainings and professional courses in the field of import, DG (Dangerous Goods)
• several years of professional experience in the commercial area of import air freight
• Efficient, fast and independent way of working
• Ability to work in a team
• Responsibility and reliability
• Good organizational skills
• Proactive, responsible and dynamic personality
• Team and service orientation
• Fluent oral and written English and German
• Additional (major) European languages would be an asset
• Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications) preferred
