Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Zurich is seeking a Specialist Air Import to manage import orders, client support, and documentation with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. You will ensure compliance, optimize workflows, and contribute to safe, high-quality service for our customers.

The role demands several years in import air freight, strong PC skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. AIT offers a hybrid work model and a supportive environment in a global network.

Qualifications

• Completed training in freight forwarding.
• Trainings in import and DG (Dangerous Goods) are a plus.
• Several years of professional experience in import air freight.
• Efficient, fast and independent working style.
• Ability to work in a team; reliable and responsible.
• Strong PC skills; experience with freight forwarding software.

Responsibilities

• Enter shipments and process import orders.
• Support and advise customers and agents.
• Prepare and monitor offers; handle billing and documents.
• Process special orders and complaints; manage delivery bills and customs documents.
• Monitor appointments and maintain performance statistics for accounting.
